I went to a Micheal Franti concert last night and had such a wonderful time feeling the love.

Micheal Franti has a very special gift of reaching his audience through his beautiful,deep, powerful and thought provoking lyrics that are heart felt, first by him and then by us.

His genre of music is something of a combination of a Reggae Rock Fusion, with a few ballads thrown in amongst the high energy songs that keeps people all around happy to be jumping up and down with your hands held high.

As I looked around me at a packed house I could see and feel the love and joy that appeared felt by all of us.

Joy is of the highest vibration.

This is why finding your true joy from within is so valuable to yourself first and the world second.

I know in a previous post I said love is the highest vibration. I stand corrected.

Love is one of the highest vibrations just not the highest.

Joy is the highest. So it was so fun to be surrounded by a room full of people filled with joy, doing what I love, which is listening to music, the Universal language and dancing from a core place of joy and love from within me, surrounded by good friends.

I was connected to Source, grounded and allowing love to flow through me as I tuned in, felt my love and my joy in the moment, while moving this high vibrating buzzing energy through my body as dance.

My heart is touched deeply when I am in the presence of a masculine man, as Micheal surely is, that is so comfortable in his own skin, putting forward messages of peace, love, light and oneness for this beautiful spiritual life that is ours.

I could see his gentle loving spirit radiating outward to all of us as he reached out to touch people's hands from the audience.

He praised Barack Obama through his speaking words and preformed a song he had written especially for him.

Calling out to everyone to help Barack out by being responsible and doing our own part, by being and doing your best in making the world a better place.

Demi Moore and Ashton Krutcher have a video out asking people to step up and claim what you are willing to put forth and commit to.

This video started by them challenging their friends and colleagues to state their pledges on record.

Apparently now you can go to their website and post your own video proclaiming the action you commit to do in the world. Your very own pledge to the world. Very powerful and heart felt.

It starts out with the President's inaugural speech. " Let us summon a new spirit of patriotism of responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work hard. And to look after not only ourselves but each other."

Demi pledges to smile more. You can not underestimate the effect this has on yourself and others.

You smile even when you are not in the mood and your feelings of joy are soon to catch up with that smile.

You smile, you make someones day, they smile back and there is a ripple effect that is positively contagious.

Demi and Ashton pledge to abolish 21st century slavery in 5 years.

That there is more slavery now than there ever has been at any other time, including when Lincoln became President.

Such as child trafficking and exploitation and how it is happening on USA soil right under our noses.

Now that is a big goal where God can surely use them in service to others.

What exactly goes on inside your brain when you fancy someone?

What does love do to your brain chemicals?

 Is falling in love just nature's way to keep our species alive?

We call it love.

It feels like love, it looks like love, it tastes like love and it sounds like love.

With an irresistible cocktail of chemicals, our brain entices us to fall in love. Aahhhhhhhh!

The most exhilarating of all the human emotions, love has us believing we’re choosing a partner, when really perhaps we are the very happy victims of keeping our species alive?

It’s not what you say...

Psychologists have shown it takes between 90 seconds and 4 minutes to decide if you fancy someone.

Research has shown this has little to do with what is said, rather

    *      55% is through body language
    *      38% is the tone and speed of their voice
    *      Only 7% is through what they say
 

The 3 stages of love

Helen Fisher of Rutgers University in the States has proposed 3 stages of love – lust, attraction and attachment. Each stage might be driven by different hormones and chemicals.

Stage 1: Lust

This is the first stage of love and is driven by the sex hormones testosterone and estrogen –This happens in both men and women and enhances their libido & carnal yearnings. These lead to a heightened sense of basic sexual drivers such as appearance and pheromones.

Stage 2: Attraction

This is the amazing time when you are truly love-struck and can think of little else. Scientists think that three main neurotransmitters are involved in this stage; adrenaline, dopamine and serotonin.
A lovey dove potion of emotion and motion.

Adrenaline

The initial stages of falling for someone activates your stress response, increasing your blood levels of adrenalin and cortisol. This has the charming effect that when you unexpectedly bump into your new love, you start to sweat, your heart races and your mouth goes dry.

Dopamine

Helen Fisher asked newly ‘love struck’ couples to have their brains examined and discovered they have high levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine. This chemical stimulates ‘desire and reward’ by triggering an intense rush of pleasure. It has the same effect on the brain as taking cocaine!

Fisher suggests “couples often show the signs of surging dopamine: increased energy, less need for sleep or food, focused attention and exquisite delight in smallest details of this novel relationship” .

Serotonin

And finally, serotonin. One of love's most important chemicals that may explain why when you’re falling in love, your new lover keeps popping into your thoughts.

Does love change the way you think?
A landmark experiment in Pisa, Italy showed that early love (the attraction phase) really does change the way you think.

Dr Donatella Marazziti, a psychiatrist at the University of Pisa advertised for twenty couples who'd been madly in love for less than six months. She wanted to see if the brain mechanisms that cause you to constantly think about your lover, were related to the brain mechanisms of Obsessive-compulsive Disorder.

By analysing blood samples from the lovers, Dr Marazitti discovered that serotonin levels of new lovers were equivalent to the low serotonin levels of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder patients.

We really are crazy in love, head over heels obsessed.

Love needs to be blind.

Ph.D. student Andreas Bartels and his adviser Semir Zeki of the Imperial College of London used an fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging) scanner to scan brains in love. They discovered that the portions of the brain related reward and pleasure activate while portions related to moral judgment deactivate. A drop in moral judgment? This is apparently why people say that "love is blind".

Newly smitten lovers often idealize their partner, magnifying their virtues and explaining away their flaws says Ellen Berscheid, a leading researcher on the psychology of love.

New couples also exalt the relationship itself. “It's very common to think they have a relationship that's closer and more special than anyone else's.”
Psychologists think we need the view of rose-tinted glasses. It makes us want to stay together to enter the next stage of love – attachment.

Stage 3: Attachment

Attachment is the bond that keeps couples together long enough for them to have and raise children. Scientists think there might be two major hormones involved in this feeling of attachment; Oxytocin and Vasopressin.

Oxytocin - The cuddle hormone

Oxytocin is a powerful hormone released by men and women during orgasm.

Note to self: This is why ladies, we get so attached to our men. The very hormone that bonds us to our babies also bonds us to our men when we engage in sexual activities. ~Cherish thy self, do not get involved too soon.

It probably deepens the feelings of attachment and makes couples feel much closer to one another after having sex. The theory goes that the more sex a couple has, the deeper their bond becomes.

Oxytocin also seems to help cement the strong bond between mom and baby and is released during childbirth. It is also responsible for a mom’s breast automatically releasing milk at the mere sight or sound of her young baby.

Diane Witt, assistant professor of psychology from New York has showed that if you block the natural release of Oxytocin in sheep and rats, they reject their own young.

Conversely, injecting Oxytocin into female rats who’ve never had sex, caused them to fawn over another female’s young, nuzzling the pups and protecting them as if they were their own.

Vasopressin is another important hormone in the long-term commitment stage and is released after sex.

Vasopressin (also called anti-diuretic hormone) works with your kidneys to control thirst. Its potential role in long-term relationships was discovered when scientists looked at the prairie vole.

Prairie voles indulge in far more sex than is strictly necessary for the purposes of reproduction. They also – like humans - form fairly stable pair-bonds.

When male prairie voles were given a drug that suppresses the effect of Vasopressin, the bond with their partner deteriorated immediately as they lost their devotion and failed to protect their partner from new suitors.

And finally … how to fall in love

    *      Find a complete stranger.
    *      Reveal to each other intimate details about your lives for half an hour.
    *      Then, stare deeply into each other’s eyes without talking for four minutes.

York psychologist, Professor Arthur Arun, has been studying why people fall in love.

He asked his subjects to carry out the above 3 steps and found that many of his couples felt deeply attracted after the 34 minute experiment. Two of his subjects later got married.

Feminine Wiles Fully Expressed is Priceless and Desired

The world needs us women to be in touch with our femininity more than ever, exercising daily self care.

Integrative energy of the feminine wiles when fully expressed is brilliant, sexy, loving, tender, playful and enchanting.

We can be expressing our truth and what we are passionate about and stand up for what we believe in. We are not afraid to do so.

It is important that we as woman understand that the world hungers for us to embrace the feminine and all it's beauty and worth.

Women are attracted to men because of their manhood. Let them be men.

We do not want to act as men sexually nor do they want us to either.

Men compartmentalize and put you in a separate box if you give of yourself too soon. They think you must do that with everyone you meet. This is difficult to reverse.

You must make a decision on whether you want to be partnership material or a one night stand? A decision you can live with if he never calls again.

Women and men are wired differently and there are important double standards put into place, that are what they are.

There is a hormone called Oxytocin and it is released when a woman has sex with a man. This hormone is the same hormone released when a woman has a baby that bonds us to our babies.

This is why we feel such a strong connection right away and can sometimes see our future together.

It is no secret that men can separate sex from love.

Most men will be physically attracted to you if you are a female. Physical attraction can end in one encounter and that is the end of that, which can leave a woman emotionally torn.

Men need to be emotionally attracted in order to have the desire to continue building a relationship with you.

Many women on the other hand usually cannot separate sex and love right from the get go, unless trying to fool themselves.

This is where self love, self respect and honoring oneself is so important when making decisions earlier on about having sex with someone new.

If you honor and respect yourself, a descent man will honor and respect you too.

Otherwise he is not worthy of your love or time.

When you align yourself with your truth and take the time to get to know someone first you naturally come to know the man's intentions.

You see a man's intentions through his actions not his words.

 Pay attention through your intuition and get to know your own body signals.

 Do not ignore the red flags.

A woman needs to feel safe and protected with someone they trust.

The truth is that being a virtuous woman is what good men most desire a woman to be.

The woman that becomes the man's choice to be his girlfriend usually is the one that had held off sex for a while in the beginning of their relationship.

Just ask your male friends.

This woman knows her worth and is confident to show the value of her feminine being as she chooses.

Men love the challenge of the hunt. Let's not take that away from them.

By being and connecting with a virtuous woman ultimately gives the man the virtuous qualities that he naturally lacks, that in essence makes the man a better man through her virtues.

You as a woman could be the best lover in the world and unless that man is ready to settle down, there is nothing any woman can do but respect herself first always and do what is in your highest interest.

Remember, sacred unconditional love is always available to you. Allow it to flow through you.

Say, "I am that sacred unconditional love, I am," as you look at something beautiful.

Men mostly get this through you.

You are priceless.

We all want to love another and be loved.

Start with yourself always. You are worth it. You are Divine.

Self Love Is Where It is At

I really love Oprah's candor, courage,humor, honesty and strength.

I can only imagine how many people she has helped by being all that she is, speaking her truth often.

She recently spoke her truth in front of her very large international audience in regards to her weight gain.

By getting honest with her self first she was able to get clarity on making herself number one on her list of self care,interspersed with her busy schedule.

Self love determines your destiny.

We are so hard on our selves.

Far harder on ourselves than we would ever be with our friends.

As I heard her speak at first I heard Oprah really beating herself up about letting herself down by gaining back her weight again.

So many of us do this to ourselves and it does not serve us one bit.

She got clarity on putting herself as priority and being grateful for what she already had.

Her body got her to this place where she is now.

Where there is gratitude, fear can not exist at the same time.

We are not here to be perfect but to do our best.

Perfectionism only sets you up for failure and ties your energy up in negativity.

It is not our job to be perfectionists. That is the awesome job of our Creator.

Our Creator created us in her image.

We are all 100% God's unique expression. Not all that God is, but a part of something grander than ourselves that we are all a part of.

Our unique expressions are needed to complete the puzzle, the weaving of the matrix and the grander plan.

God created everything to experience everything through us, through every blade of grass. This is how significant we all are.

Life is to be enjoyed.

We are all beautiful, powerful spiritual beings of eternal love and light first experiencing the human experience.

This is why it is so important to align yourself with the flow of the love that you already are and your truth without judgment.

Sometimes love is the only thing strong enough to transmute the lies and the illusions in order to know the truth of who you really are.

It is so important to put your self love first above all things. Be gentle here.

Surrender your flawed thinking through intention. This will help you get out of your own way and out of your head to receive the clarity on what the next step is.

This is the most powerful tool to know, as well as love yourself with your thoughts.

Become aware in the moment of what you tell yourself everyday and you will transform in a way that your problems will never be the same. The key is without judgment.

Commit to being loving at all times with yourself. If you are aware of slipping up, in that moment just observe and be gentle and energies will shift in your favor.

Love, honor and cherish yourself everyday.

Do something you love even if it is only for 15 minutes a day.

Really engage with life in every moment.

Let go of your need of perfection. You are perfect in your imperfections. How could God get it wrong?

Each step is a test from the Universe.

Do not waver no matter how uncertain you may feel. Trust the unfolding. The truth will prevail and the rest will fall away.

Once you pass the test the Universe conspires on your behalf sending you many fulfilling gifts along this spiritual path as you grow.

Once you get the lesson, there will be no charge or triggers around that issue any more and the Universe no longer needs to manifest the obstacles physically in your life.

This is because you really got the lesson by becoming more self aware and self loving.

You will not see that pattern again show up quite like that again because you loved yourself enough to honor and value you first above all else.

This is a practice that can be mastered and integrated into knowing your wholeness as it was originally intended, before the illusion of fear set in.

I have the tools to share that will make this journey of yours easier for you to move forward as you allow more love in, you integrate all that you really are.

Beating yourself up no longer serves you.

It may have kept you safe as a child, so bless it and let it go.

You will empty your cup to fill it up with unconditional love.

Life is about understanding and appreciating the love that you already are through experiencing it.

Be loving and love will expand in your life.

Love's ultimate intention is to expand at every point of passage.

Learn to open your heart and you will experience the everyday magic and miracles.

Today I cherished myself by doing something that I love. I went skiing with 4 of my girlfriends that know how to have lots of fun. We laughed a lot and met lots of new and interesting people in the gondolas.

I feel closest to my Creator when outside, especially when out on top of a beautiful mountain in Utah, with the best snow on Earth, the sun is shining, the air is crisp and fresh to breathe in deeply and I am in that incredible rhythm, as I beat up the mountain on the way down.

All around me are million dollar views and just out front I see my shadow. I am grinning from ear to ear feeling the sacred unconditional love and the closeness that nothing else compares to.

Time stands still.

I know that I am not alone in my joy.

I have been in a state of gratitude all day long.

True Colors Revealed In Relationships

As I continue dating, it has become so very obvious the value of being aligned with my truth and grounded in that.

I stay true to myself and I remain centered.

What has happened recently with the men I have been seeing is that they come into my life, we go out a few times and the truth appears before me.

The truth appears easily because what does not align with my best intentions for myself just falls a way, it was never meant to be.

The persons true colors are made manifest in a way that is always in perfect timing. It may hurt a little, but what I am finding is it is only a little, if at all.

Their actions and behaviors say nothing about me but about them.

I honor and value the sacred Divine self within my heart that I do not share with just anybody.

This is where taking quality time to really get to know someone and not rushing into a relationship really pays off.

I see these men as holding valuable gifts for me to see, that revealed themselves to me as lessons, so I could get clearer on what I want and what I do not want in my relationship.

I then place the healthy boundaries up around these beautiful lessons I have learned about myself because of the mirror these men so generously provided, which then creates a freedom for me to express myself more as me.

I then tell the Universe this.... is what I truly desire, with clarity. I say it with a child like trust and a knowing that it is so, and so it is. I let it go without attachment to the outcome and go about my fabulous fun life that I have created for myself.

The Universe sees that I passed the test and then sends me someone who matches the vibration of the love I have for myself.

"Next!"

I know that I deserve an extraordinary love with an extraordinary man that will show up in my life in perfect timing.

I have complete faith that this process really works.

Your worth is your truth!

All of your relationships mirror your attitude towards yourself.

Your relationship with yourself determines the quality of virtually every experience that comes your way.

You are the director of your own movie and the people in your life come in and act perfectly as your energy directs them to.

I have aligned myself with very high standards of the love I desire to attract.

The energy we put out is the energy we attract back to us.

Ask yourself," What kind of energy am I putting out into the Universe to have attracted this"? Then listen to your heart and act on what it tells you.

This puts you in the leading role and driver seat of your own movie, which is also your magnificent life.

We broadcast signals like a radio station, these are signals that reflect our true nature, our deepest beliefs and our unspoken attitudes that everyone energetically picks up on.

You have felt it before when someone comes into your life, that wants to perhaps date you and you instantly get this feeling of desperate yuck, that repels you.

Even in cyberspace, you can feel the energy of desperation and neediness.

The profile in itself can be very revealing of where a persons issues are.

Self love predicts your destiny. This is how important honoring and valueing yourself first is. Please read this sentence again.

Stick by this road less traveled with a persistence and a conviction unwavering and you will soon experience signs of the love you desire showing up in your life.

Remember that each choice either enhances or depletes your relationship with yourself and with others in every given moment.

Become more self aware in the moment and think about what you are creating for yourself now because this is what will show up in your future.

Sometimes the choice not to put up with something like disrespect anymore can be at first very uncomfortable and uneasy.

This means you are on your way to shifting your energy in a way that honors you. This is very powerful and will reflect back to you in a positive way that fulfills you.

Be courageous and loving here. Do not judge just notice what bubbles up for you.

Relax as much as you can into these uncomfortable feelings and breathe into those areas of the body you feel it the most.

You do not have to analyze and know where it is coming from. Get out of your own way and notice without judgment.

You will know something about yourself you never knew before that is beautifully you in your authentic power.

This is a practice and you will get to the point that it becomes second nature.

You will be able to handle and shift large amounts of energy right in front of others without them noticing or suspecting a thing. Like a self cleaning oven.

This is you taking 100% responsibility for you and your behaviors and actions.

If you have an appreciation and gratitude for your inherent and eternal worth the Universe will send you more of that to be grateful for, instead of sending you more people that do not appreciate you, you will be sent people that see you and appreciate your self worth because you see it and value it first and foremost.

This makes you very attractive.

The kind of partner you are to yourself is the kind of partner you will magnetize to your life.

Happiness is an inside job. It is up to you to decide that you are worthy of this innate love and happiness so to let go of what is clouding the way of you feeling this from your inner core essence.

It is the person that you choose to love that chooses to love you that is always perfect.

If you desire to be with a truly happy person, you must be a truly happy person first.

I see relationships in a human lifetime as the most valuable to master. Clear communication is the key. By learning to get along with one another and helping each other out we grow and mature and find a loving peaceful fulfillment like no other.

This can be learned through the dating process, learning and growing with each person you interact with and getting to know your likes and dislikes along the way. Online dating is the perfect environment for this practice because of the abundance of single people.

I am not the same person now that I was when I first started online dating. It is an incredible tool if you know how, in knowing more about who you are and what you truly want in a partner and in life to powerfully attract it in. You just keep getting clearer and clearer each step of the way.

A healthy core state is what is a normal stasis to be in. Anything else is a warning that something needs balancing.

There is a powerful body,mind and soul connection that cannot be separated from one another.

We are bundles of intelligent energy. Everything is energy.

Financial, because this is where a lot of emotion is tied up within many of us including fear, shame and pain. This topic provides a huge platform for transformation to take place quickly, showing positive tangible results, making a huge difference in your life and in your world.

Money is neutral, it is the labels that we put on it that creates the physical outcomes that manifest into our lives. It depends on our relationship with money and uncovering the unconscious areas where resistance exists, that needs to be discovered in order to see positive changes occur.

Your birthright is prosperity, joy and ecstasy, but because the world became so convoluted, you have to claim it through intention, choice, action and practice.

Your inner world reflects your outer world.

There is no greater success than tapping into your own innate joy and peace that will sustain you.

Life is meant to be enjoyed.

An incredible dance of give and take.

Being a part of something so beautiful and so much larger than ourselves.

Thankfully I am not the only one holding this vision for humanity. I believe it is possible and it starts with you and I doing our part and taking 100% responsibility for our own actions and behaviors.

It is in our best and highest good to get along.

It is so much more fun this way.

It will take a growing community of people to work together to make it happen.

We all owe it to ourselves. We need each other.

After all, we are all One, living on this one beautiful planet called Earth.

What we have known in the past is crumbling and we are being asked to create new ways of being that includes the best and highest good for everyone as a whole.

7 Ways to Tune In and Tune UP

Seek to understand and the answers will surface from within.

There is an inner intelligent knowing within all of us.

We need only to tap into that higher intelligence, listen, trust and take action when called for.

First you must believe it is true, that we all have this sixth sense, an intuitive higher knowing accessible to us at all times, so as to become more aware to its subtleties.

Then you practice fine tuning it. It takes 21 days consecutively to create a habit.

Start with the following 7 ways to tune in and tune up:

1. Connect to Source and ground yourself daily.

2. Exercise regularly.

3. Practice tuning in to how you feel within your environment and the people around you.

4. Take slow deep breathes often to center yourself as you go about your day.

5. Get out of your left brain and create something fun for yourself.

6. Seek solitude.

7. Meditate, do yoga, and or Thai Chi or some other practice routinely, to gather Chi and fill yourself up with the love and light that we all yearn for.
