The New Relationship and Paradigm Shift

In these changing times I am predicting a paradigm shift in relationships.

By talking to my modern day friends, the modern day woman needs more from her man than he has been able to deliver from past generations.

Gentlemen, stay with me, we need you. This is not going to be scary. I promise this will not hurt a bit.

I believe that you, as a woman, have been naturally gifted with the ability to communicate intuitively and are the ones that will bridge the gender gap to a more fulfilling relationship for both sexes.

This new partnership has equal voice and a deep understanding and reverence for our differences and our sameness. It is important that we all work together on this.

Let's face it, the bottom line is we all desire and need love. Even though we have our different priorities and ways of getting there.

I love this about all of us.

If we were to get rid of everything that we did not need, it would be love and only love that would exist.

Women desire the fullness of love and to surrender to the flow of this. Men desire to find their own direct purposeful path of freedom and be empty in this. Both the masculine and the feminine ending up in the same desired oneness and vastness of love.

Statistics have it that men need women in relationship in order to live a longer and fulfilled life. This is worth noting.

It is a benefit to both men and women for each to embrace their inner feminine and masculine for a less fragmented self, for a feeling of wholeness and vitality of which you already are.

A man can take care of the kids and a woman can run a business. This has been proven in many different ways over and over.

The modern day relationship is about negotiating and renegotiating these past traditional roles as needed, as well as what is new for them. This is uniquely customized in honor of the partnership to accommodate the needs of each other as you go along.

As you continue to develop and grow spiritually these needs will change and renegotiation will be discussed openly for the goodness of the relationship as a whole.

In an intimate relationship and partnership in order to keep the fire burning in the bedroom there must be one partner in the more masculine essence and one partner in the more feminine essence to keep the romance alive. This is true in both heterosexual and homosexual relationships.

(Of course keeping the fire burning can mean changing this up a bit once and a while. The man surrendering in love and the woman directing the path.)

The friendship and the love can still be strong but the sexual polarity will fade effecting the juice of the entire relationship. Unless you are content in a more neutral partnership, which is fine for some.

It is about clear communication and mutual respect. It is about partnership with equal voice. We as the feminine desire men to be men. We would have it no other way.

As I am sure men do not really want women to act and think like men.

Now I know there are some men that desire to do what it takes to make their relationship work, like learning what it is that your woman needs from you in order to make your life together more fulfilling. You will be the men that contribute to this much needed paradigm shift happening now. For this I commend you.

It is you, the woman that will generally be the ones to help this shift occur because of your natural gifts to communicate, nurture relationship and the willingness to learn the tools. We can then accurately invite the men on board to where they are comfortable.

This is a topic that we as individual men and women have a responsibility for. I would love to hear your stand on this subject of the paradigm shift in relationship and what this could mean in our future relationships and our future world.

Great article Katherine. I believe you're right. I can definitely see a shift happening in my own relationship and in others and can see the evolution of the male and female energies aligning more and more. We are headed for a beautiful age of love.
